iPhone 3G

Alright chaps, Got the new iphone and noticed on the advert that a little 3G symbol comes up in the corner when on the net. I have never seen this on mine, only E or the wireless symbol. Is there a fault or is that just for the advert?

I have enabled 3G in the settings too.

E is there because it is on an Edge network, the wifi symbol is there when on a wireless network. 3G symbol will show if on a 3g network. Seems there is no 3g network available where you are.

Yeah I know the other stuff, It just seems strange as I am either in Liverpool or London and you would expect their to be 3G. Must be a fault with the phone. Cheers

Worked it out, there's a problem with the SIM Card.
