Cuil (Cool?)
Apparently there's a new search engine out by former employees of Google.
Cuil
Strangely uses a left to right diplay of results in columns. Anyone used it yet and is it any good? Right now it seems to have no ads as well.

Don't know how long that search engine has been up, but its already many times better than Windows Live search.

Re: Cuil (Cool?)
Tried it the other day and it came up with some odd results, and the images it put next to websites were not really images that related to the website as such.
And it's not the .co.uk version of its domain name, which isn't going to help it with world domination.

No ,its not .Knowledge is 'eolas' in Irish
Fionn Mac Cumhaill was a legendry Giant of Ireland ,who supposedly made the Giants causeway as a stepping stone to Scotland and made the Isle of Man by picking up a mountain from what is now Lough Neagh and throwing it at another giant ...have you heard of Finnegans wake ??

Re: Cuil (Cool?)
They say "Cuil is an old Irish word for knowledge. For knowledge, ask Cuil." on their site: Cuil - The World's Biggest Search Engine Bloody con artists! They'll be getting us to kiss some old rock next and giving us addictive black alcohol that breaks and loses its power when it leaves their country.
I found this one today too - Searchme Visual Search - Beta - rev. 2.0.3 - it looks nice but it probably won't work on an older computer.
