Re: lcd or plasma?????
Just came back from Tesco's and they had a 42" Samsung Plasma for £600 which I thought was a bit of a bargain.

Re: lcd or plasma?????
LCD all the way.
Slimmer, lighter, longer screen life, no screen burn, brighter picture and cheaper to run.
You get better colour saturation on a high end plasma.

Re: lcd or plasma?????
I always thought plasma was the best but now LCD has taken over and there is way more lcd's around than plasmas.

Re: lcd or plasma?????
This being the techy forum, don't av nerds say that plasma is still the best?

Re: lcd or plasma?????
As a general rule under 32 inches go LCD but over that it has to be plasma.
Anyone who says otherwise is just jealous as they couldn't afford a plasma!! It's like when people say they prefer their Mondeo to a Ferrari, they convince themselves in their own mind that they're right. They're wrong......

Re: lcd or plasma?????
There is a whole host of reasons to buy either. Plasma burns but it does black better which is important. It also does football better.
Lcd is sharper and better for gaming etc..

Re: lcd or plasma?????
Why would you fork out for a screen that's gonna have sky sports or other such shite burnt onto the top left or right hand corner after a few years?
