Converting from Vista to XP
It's driving me fucking nuts at the moment. Trying to fix my friends Pavilion TX 1000 while she is on vacation.

At one point Windows Update just stopped working. Upgraded to Microsoft Update, no fucking luck.

I'm now on the second install of XP and it better fucking work this time or I'm afraid I'll lose it. Out the window.

I have very little patience when it comes to trivial pc problems, unfortunately.

This laptop just hasn't got the juice to run Vista. The change in responsiveness when converted to XP is very noticable.

Unfortunately, Windows Update has decided not to work. Which is pretty fucking annoying. And for once, Google isn't much help either!

Previously it has installed SP3 no problem, now it won't even do that. No, I'm not agitated AT ALL!

It seems I beat Windows Update. Have now managed to download and install every update from WU. It's time to call it a day.
