Posting messages in peoples profiles
I tried posting in Malarkey's and Paul's today, and it was timing out on me. Are other people having any bother posting in profiles, or is it just me?

I've noticed a couple of things

One user cmcmahon who was in the chat room, isn't in the member list. I got to his profile by clicking on his name but got a message saying "page doesn't exist" when I tried to post a message.

Presumably its also a new thing that you can't post in non-ticks/ST peoples profiles now too?

Well we got out on that ice and started spinning around doing 360s and 180s all over the ice slugging down Jack Daniels as fast as we could. That’s when I heard the most horrible sound I ever heard in my life and I knew we were going through the ice!

cmcmahon is a STH, and his profile is:

For some reason he doesn't show up on the members list though. Paul and Malarkey are both STH's, but I can't post in their profiles, and it's the same with Stouff.

I've looked on the vbulletin help forums but can't find any examples of this happening to anyone else. It was working fine until recently, and I'm pretty sure I haven't altered any of the settings.

Also I can't put a profile pic in, because the file size limit's a bit low: "Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 1 Bytes (whichever is smaller)."

Just tried posting in yours, and it timed out. Looking behind the form this is the url in the "form action":

But it doesn't exist (even without the do thing on the end).

This form here for example points to http://www.liverpoolway.co.uk/forum/...treply&t=65045 which doesn't do anything but doesn't say "not found".

I'll get on that tonight, as thats easy to fix. Nick Leeson has told me what he thinks the problem is with the profile messaging, but the file that is missing has never been there anyway, I'm 99% sure of that.

I'll see if I can find it in the original forum copy I downloaded from vb, and hopefully that will fix it.
