RIP Arthur my cat
Just found out tonight he's had to be put down. He had a massive stroke today (yeah yeah, that's what you're supposed to do to cats....). He and his brother live with ex Mrs Lurtz and she phoned to tell me. She took him to the vets and there was nothing they could do so the fat little bugger is now in Whiskas heaven. He was ace. Hard as nails with proper fucking attitude.

Gutted tbh. Missed him as it was, never mind now.

Off for a pint in a bit but thought I'd give him a send off on here.

Be nice you fuckers, he meant a lot to me.

my sympathies

it took me a year to get over the loss of my cat.....i'm relatively untouched by death so it really hurt.

take some time to heal and then get another one.

Sorry mate. I haven't lost a pet of my own since my dog died when i was 19 and i refused to get another pet.

I now loose other peoples. Rabbits are notorious for disappearing while in my care, i don't cook them either, they just fuck off to pastures greener. My eldest daughter did stick 2 kittens in the tumble dryer once, i heard a thudding as the drum went round i was upstairs at the time, so let it go on for a short while too. They lived.

I remember when one of my cats and my nan both snuffed it at around the same time years ago. I was more upset about the cat...



In the midst of a bit of a power struggle with my landlady at the moment about having cats here, she's not too happy about it apparently.

I spent 10 minutes yesterday in the pub telling one of her relatives that " Suppose I'll have to go looking for another place to rent if it comes to her insisting that I get rid of the moggy."

This should make for an entertaining phone call or two in the next couple of days...
