My Laptop...
Is royally fucked.
Basically, nothing is sticking on the Hard Drive. Every time I switch it off, any downloads or prgrammes I've added to the thing are wiped off. Also, every time I start it up it's taking fucking ages to load up and it's like I've only just bought the thing each time I turn it on, e.g installing iTunes all the time, installing MSN.
Nightmare.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ta.

Re: My Laptop...
My expert opinion is that it's broken.
Next question...

that is extremely odd. can you run the programs you install after you've installed them? check the directories where they are getting installed to and check if there are any files there in the first place.
could be a dodgy hard drive.

Where are you at Ted? I can take a look at it for you if you want but off the top of my head I have no idea what's wrong with it.

Re: My Laptop...
That's just bizarre. Are the programs that you install actually on the hard drive? It sounds like there's a program protecting your settings. If the hard drive is faulty then it's suprising that Windows starts at all.

I'm in work all this week. If I bring it to footy next week, reckon you could take a gander for me?

Re: My Laptop...
I'm not too desperate to be honest mate.
I'm only online now because I'm piggybacking off someone near work and we've not got the Web on in the flat yet so I can wait.
Cheers, Gaz.
