Mail server password kinda stuff problems

Right, we have a small network set up in our office. The server connects to a mailserver in Bradford. I got a call from the IT guys there saying that the password had changed. I found my way to MMC on the server and upgraded the password but I'm getting this error

Task 'Microsoft Exchange Server' reported error (0x8004010F) : 'The operation failed. An object could not be found.'

Why is life so complicated?

It seems to be sending but not receiving.

Okay, now they tell me they have changed the pop3 and smtp settings... where do I configure them in MMC?
