Port Forwarding Tutorial and Information

Like many other lads who play the likes of Football Manager and want to host a game with a router and wanting to Port Forward. I have got together a whole lot of useful information to Port Forward and the likes so connection hindering Hamachi doesn't need to be used no more.

Findports.com - Football Manager 2008

The above link indicates how many ports need to be forwarded.

PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall

Above is a link to a website were you select what router you are using, so you can be guided through router software to port forward.

Football Manager - Network Games FAQ - Neoseeker

Above is a link of useful FAQ's regarding joining Football Manager 2008 (for the FM08 lads).

YouTube - How to Forward a TCP/UDP Port on a Router ?

And the final link is a Tutorial on How to Forward a TCP/UDP Port on a Router.

Hope it helps. TNF! TNF! TNF!

It's a piece of piss, Dynamite. I thought it was hard but its only hard if you dont forward the right ports. If you try it and have any difficulty, PM me and I'll give you a helping hand. Plus, using the information I compiled, I succesfully Port forwarded a couple of hours later. I found it really, really easy.

And as for you Odris, stop being a total handjob. If it weren't for my sheer intelligance, you would not be able to get your arse handed you on Football Manager on my network.

Re: Port Forwarding Tutorial and Information

Having problems doing this.....

Don't know the id and password to gain access to the router, the defaults are not working, and I can't remember if I changed my details when I set up initially.

The rest is pretty straight forward, but no good if I can't actually access my router....
