What is the standard generic term for a USB pen drive?
Memory stick, pen drive, a USB?
Help!!!!!!!!

Well we got out on that ice and started spinning around doing 360s and 180s all over the ice slugging down Jack Daniels as fast as we could. That’s when I heard the most horrible sound I ever heard in my life and I knew we were going through the ice!

If you must abbreviate call it a flash drive and drop the USB. But under no circumstances do you call it a USB drive.

It has to be USB, but it doesn't have to be flash, hence the dropping of the flash bit. Except you weren't in possession of those facts.
