Have you got this Rargh? I had a lash at it over the weekend, PS3 demo. They've made some really nice changes to the engine (bullet effects, sound, visuals etc) but I'm not sure its going to better BF2. But for console owners who haven't seen BF2, its of a very high quality.

Im more intrigued by Digitial Illusions' free online game thats due out this summer, Battlefield Heroes. Its free to buy because they are using product placement etc, looks a lot of fun.

I played it last night. Not for very long, but it was very good. Developed by the swedish branch of EA Games. I know one of the lads that worked on it. They have something else coming out in the autumn called Mirror's Edge. Had a quick razz on that. Looks pretty ace. Not a game i would normally go for though.

Looks shit. I played BF2 and that was a bit shit because the guys didn't fit in with the landscape. You could jump about 5 foot into the air for example, and if you tried to defend spots as a sniper of assault team it was totally obvious,

All I did on the PC was shoot the morons waiting for the planes to spawn, because about 3 idiots would shoot each other as soon as one spawned, I'd wait for their deathmatch to finish and shoot the winner. Then run out, steal their plane and kamikaze into an enemy AA or group. Sure, it was fun but annoying as fuck. CoD4 however required real skill, as anyone who I've played with on TLW can atest as I just about own everyone on the server.
