My wifes car crash made page 3 -Wirral Globe

Wife had car crash yesterday morning .All OK but it caused chaos on the raod . Even made page 3 of the Wirral Globe as well as the traffic bulletins on Century and Radio City
My wife coonected with page three and all she had to do was total my car.

Re: My wifes car crash made page 3 -Wirral Globe

Yikes.

My car made the front page of the Evening Leader here when Mold flooded. I had parked it up and came back a few hours later to see it floating down the road hitting in to other motors. It was full to the headrests with shitty water but because I have just bought it and only had 3rd part insurance I wasn't covered. Me and my Dad spent a week drying it out and got it working. Then as more and more things stopped working on it (lights, horn, spedo, heaters, electric windows) I sold it to a ford garage.

Yeh ,she is thanks, she had the four year old in the back seat. She only had a slight knock on the head and is fine.Little GW is fine also.I was in Maccesfield when I got the call so it was a quick u-turn and 90 miles an hour all the way back.I would have got there sooner but the traffic was nuts on Hoylake Road .

Re: My wifes car crash made page 3 -Wirral Globe

Fucking hell grazy, what a wreck, amazed and pleased she got out of that one okay.

My dad was on the front page of the Echo the other month, but thankfully he didn't need to smash anything to pieces to get there.

Rather sadly, I have the only front cover of the Daily Post that I authored during my time there framed and hanging on my wall at home.

Jeez mate, Give the missus an extra hug. We got smashed into a couple of years ago. Wrote the car off. I was fine physically but my driving was very nervous for a while afterwards.

Re: My wifes car crash made page 3 -Wirral Globe

It is,sorry was a Mazda 3 .Part of the reason I bought mazda was the safety rating so goes to show that the crash test dummies are smart cookies.
Thanks for support for Mrs G .She is fine and indeed looking at another car.It was the talk of the school playground. Kids in school were well made up .

Re: My wifes car crash made page 3 -Wirral Globe

Those white lines on the road. Were they straight before the impact?

Considering it was only a small orange plastic cone, it sure did some damage to the Mazda. How did she miss the first one?

Joking aside, glad she's ok.
