Sammy's barmitzvah (Curb Season 6 Spoilers)

I just saw this episode of Curb your enthusiasm last night. It is the purest 40 minutes or so of comedy I have ever seen.

Ah, is that the one where Larry talks about how big the kids cock is?

Curb is funny as fook! On a similar theme I love the "massive vagina" ep with Jeff's ex.

Re: Sammy's barmitzvah

It was fucking brilliant. I think it was the last one of Season 6. I'd been actually feeling sorry for Larry with all the Cheryl stuff, but then he got Vivica A. Fox in the sack and all was right with the world. Ace.

Quality episode. 'It's a vicious rumour!' Cracked me up as well when he pretended to be retarded 'cos someone wanted to buy the office next door.

The episode before that with Steve Coogan in was also good shit.

Re: Sammy's barmitzvah (Curb Season 6 Spoilers)

Steve Coogan was the worst thing that ever happened to Curb. I love Partridge, Paul Calf, Gareth Cheeseman, Saxondale... moreorless everything he's done, but the style of Curb just doesn't work with Coogan.

The gerbil up the arse was a good episode though.

Have to disagree there mate. Clearly Coogan's normal style of comedy (which I love btw) is far different from that in Curb and won't have worked, but he didn't play that kind of character in it. I think they made it work by having Coogan as the quiet, apologetic, picked-on character which I thought he played well - even though it is a bit of a British stereotype.
