I've always found Hewlett Packard to be lovely little runners, never had any bother with them....450 nicker should get you one that does all that you need it to.

Acer will get you the highest spec for the best money I reckon fella.

You get mixed reviews, but everyone I know who has one it well happy. Including me.

I love my Acer too. Top spec for the money. Vaio's are bought by people who buy Iphones. Brand slaves.

What kind of Spec are you looking at mush?
I came across this one yesterday....120gb hard drive, 17" screen HP...seems a nice little deal currently 200 nicker off, plus you get a carry case in with the deal AND if you put in the promotional code AW10 you get a further tenner off....£489 the lot.

Go on to the Dixons site and search for HP DV9705 and see what you think. I like the bigger screen, better for games and DVD's and all that. Almost thought of getting one myself but mine has plenty of life left in it yet....see what you think

Dixons - Low Priced Electricals and then use the above model number.
