Cloverfield
Just been to see this with little or no info on what it's about and I can honestly say it's up there with the best I've ever seen.
An astonishing achievement and so enjoyable!! Go see this film.
As you were...

Re: Cloverfield
Yeah I really enjoyed it too, can see it really splitting audiences the way Blair Witch did though.
Had to love the Aliens reference of calling one of the characters Hudson.

Re: Cloverfield
Great film, but I expected to go in there and see what I saw. Also I thought the monster should've had better fore hands or claws.
9/10, -1 for no Star Trek teaser.

Re: Cloverfield
It was alright. Not really brilliant or Earth shattering, but enjoyable all the same.

Correct!
Lizzy Caplan though! How pretty was she in that film. I would marry that lady tomorrow, purely on how cute she is.

They were showing Star Trek teasers on whatever print Cineworld were given.
It was shit.....the teaser that is, the film was ok not the best film you'll see this year not the worst.

Re: Cloverfield
I had the Star Trek teaser which I liked. Never has the Enterprise been shown in such scale before.
Cloverfield rocked. Just long enough and some sequences were brilliantly executed. It won't have anything like the same impact on repeat viewing but it's a bold experiment that's been done with a high amount of skill.

Re: Cloverfield
Anyone see the trailer for Jumper? Looks alright that. Rachael Bilson being an added bonus.

Re: Cloverfield
I'm watching it tonight. The title sounds like a BBC1 rural drama. Hopefully it'll be a tad more exciting.

Re: Cloverfield
I was rooting for the ******* within about 15 minutes, mainly due to the bellend with the camera, its something a bit different but I didn't think it was amazing or anything.

Re: Cloverfield
Enjoyed it and the action and effects are top notch, but it's definitely not a five star film as some are saying. The ending was a bit shit, too. 3/5.

Re: Cloverfield
Personally, I loved the ending. I hope a sequel does not follow.
