This is not the mother of my son, it's my ex who used to get upset when I'd have my little one without discussing it with her.

She's the one who wanted me to get engaged and then emailed the married tw*t she had an affair with before she met me telling him the in's and out's of our relationship. This culminated in her telling him it was a "farce" and then making my life a misery for a further 3 months before she called it all off.

What you should have done is apologised and offered to cook her some dinner to make up for it, but ask her to pick up a steak knife on her way round (cos yours is blunt or some shit)
Leave the front door ajar and then when she walks through the front door with the knife - blast her with a shotgun and say it was self defence.
