You know the ones I mean.

The fields are full of the fuckers. Groups? Nay, colonies. Nay, an entire fucking mushroom Metropolis right outside my back door. If only you could pick pain-relieving shrooms alongside them as my back is going to be twatted once I've harvested this lot that are waving to me out of the window. Waving? I can almost hear them singing their hallucinogenic siren song to me. "Ingest us Meatydude! Caress us with your stomach! We'll love each other for a few hours and take you to Funkytown"

If only I wasn't babysitting today. I'd be wasted, so wasted.

i'v got a mate who goes picking and he swears by them. he boils them in water, drains them out and gives us his 'tea'. the tea is a good idea 'coz its not as mad as actually eating them but you still get on the buzz with everyone else.

he carries on about these mushies he gets that havent got a top and they are just long thin things and i'v never even saw one but he reckons they are everywhere.

In the spirit of the day and my mushroom days firmly behind me, I may have some deep fried breaded mushroms with a garlic and herb dip.

The infant school down the road from my mates house used to have a bumper crop. We used to harvest that, but Sefton Council got wind and started to spray the fields. Spoilt sport bastards. Then I found out my school's backfields had some, but you had to be out early (6am) as thats the best time for picking and beat the school rush.
