It's actually tougher than it sounds that one.

If the next question is, "Ok, they're coming for tea tonight (or dinner tomorrow afternoon)," the answer would have to be Saunders.

If the next point to be made was, "Ok, they are leaving you all their wine in their will," then of course the answer would be French.

This is worse than animal wars.

The whole thing is French, Zebedee was originally Zebulon in the show. It was a perfectly respectable French Children's show. When looking for voiceovers, Eric Thompson blagged that he could speak French. He made it up as he went along giving it the hippy stoner vibe that made it a cult hit. At first the French show producers were horrified by the incorrect portrayal of their show until they saw the viewing figures. The rest is history.

I didn't know that. Interesting stuff. Zebulon - sounds a bit sci-fi for those days.

Quite enjoyed the trip to France, and the French people. Found them to be helpful and friendly. That said, I'm not really a stereotypical American tourist.

In the words of the great Harry Dunne, "I don't know Lloyd, the French are arseholes". I agree with that statement whole heartedly so my choice would hve to be Dean Saunders. What an underatted player he was.
