Class film scores

Two class ones:

Gladiator - some really stirring Hans Zimmer tracks, especially the 'Barbarian Horde' theme which plays during the battle at the beginning

Collateral - the remix of 'ready steady go' by Okenfold and the tune which plays when the Coyote appears in the road.

Any more?

I couldn't find a link to the score from the original film. Still, this has got the fanfare, so it's OK.

Does Pulp Fiction count as having a score?

Re: Class film scores

Saw This is England the other day. As well as having some top ska in it, the original score was really beautiful as well. Also, love that song that Clint Mansell wrote for Requiem for a Dream. And Blade Runner is indeed a top shout.

Re: Class film scores

Good call on Blade Runner. Top film with top soundtrack to boot.

Zabriskie Point. Who can argue with Pink Floyd and the Grateful Dead in one film?

Here we go round the mulberry bush. 60s-tastic[1] with a Johns Children and Traffic soundtrack.

Frank Zappas 200 Motels.

Re: Class film scores

Birth - weird film but a fantastic score. Also Sexy Beast (by the same director) is a belter.

Any film directed by the great Christopher Nolan always has some nice ear candy.

And what about Escape from New York?

Last of the Mohicans was great but Badlands stands out. Think it was based on Carl Orff, the guy who did Carmina Burana
