Motorola Razr Help
got this phone but lost the software and my phone died today with loads of numbers on the phone not the sim and I can't get into the phone.
Can anyone help me out or point me in the direction of the s/w

I quite like my RAZR. Haven't had a problem with it for the 2 years I've owned it. It's a bit quiet, and the screens a little difficult to see in really bright daylight, but I always have great reception regardless of where I am, and I love the fact that I can keep it in my pocket without feeling it. I've never dropped it though, word is if you drop it, you're buying a new one.

I'm in the bizz, the tech side,not the sales bullshit side.
90% of the time I find when this happens ,is stick the phone into the hot press ,or on a shelf close to a rad or if you have a PC stick it on the box near the processor .Give it a day or two and stick it on charge again and it should hopefully work fine

i have the k1 and it is hard to see in the sun and the big glass front collects more greas than nans frying pan.
is there a way of geeting the numbers to all store to the card? to make it easier to put them onto your new phone.

Isn't that normally done in the address book, something like advanced settings - copy to SIM?

You can. Chose one of them to copy to the SIM and then it asks you if you want to do them all or just the one that you've selected.

The best way to do it is to use the software and store the contacts in Outlook. All new phones synchronize with Outlook.

tried a new batttery in the shop which didn't work so will d/l the s/w later and see if it can pick the phone up even if it isn't on
