FAO Irish reds, looking for a band.
Getting married this time next year and it's around this time that i need to book a band. We're looking to get a band that does swing music i.e Sinatra, Dean Martin but i've been looking around and they're really hard to find and ones that i do find are really pricey.
Just wondering if anyone can recommend someone who can pull off the swing band really well, don't worry too much about the price for now as long as i get a few options. Girlfriend is on my back to book someone soon so any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: FAO Irish reds, looking for a band.
Lad, I was at a wedding with a swing band last march and it was shit. They were great for the first 20 minutes but then they just got so bland and everyone was sick of hearing the same kind of stuff. Just my opinion though.
A great band who dont do that sort of stuff is called 'after dark'. They are a magic entertaining band

Yeah good point, theres a local band where i live and they mix all the swing stuff with a bit of Jackie wilson, Stevie wonder and other really good disco stuff but they're charging too much.
Where can i find out more about 'after dark'? Cheers.

Did anyone else feel that Mel Gibson's remake of the classic Life of Brian wasn't anywhere near as funny as the original?

My sister in law had these at her wedding. It was in Yorkshire but they perform all over the shop by the looks of it.
