German youngster Marvin Pourie was one of a number of impressive performers as Liverpool u18s comfortably overcame Sheffield Wednesday by two goals to nil at the Academy on Saturday morning. Second half strikes from summer recruits Ryan Crowther and David Amoo secured the three points for Hughie McAuley's men, but the scoreline really should have been more emphatic given the home side's dominance.
