Wonderfully named youngster from Childwall who enjoyed a superb campaign for the u16s in 2006/07, so much so that he forced his way into the u18 squad for the FA Youth Cup, starting both legs of the semi final against Newcastle and appearing as a substitute at Old Trafford in the 2nd leg of the final.
Lifelong red Steve is an energetic lad with an eye for goal who can play anywhere across the midfield or defence, and he was one of the few u18 players to impress consistently in a disappointing 2007/08 season. His reward for that form was a promotion to Gary Ablett's reserve squad.
