Bought it a couple of days ago.

Graphics are immense but due to you getting a Xbox Live gold account for 2 days with it im yet to get on the fucker as young un is on Kameo online all the time.

my maye and i got it together(my actualy mate, not a nerdy online one)

we just finished it on the normal level, have now jumped up to the hardest one, its called "insane" and rightly so

the smart thing in it is you can play the campaign mode on 1 player, and if your mate logs on an hour into your campaign, he can join from that point, its unbelievable

im not lying, there was one particular level on it, its the level when you have to shoot the gas cans for light, and in one section, i actually just took a step back and admired the shot, it was like something out of platoon, truly amazing

cant bloody wait for the next one, or even the new levels through xbox live

That level was ace visually - shoot the gas can with a pistol and you see the hole before it explodes. Just got past the first giant spider thing, and the resonator failed.

Is the game all squad based or are you on your billy sometimes?

its better with a mate, when you die, your mate can revive you, but when on your on your tod, when you die, you die

So on single player your not with a squad, like you would be in say Brothers in Arms? I hate games where your on your own like Halo, it scares me (Not really, I just like squad based, tactical shooters better)

ah no, you`re in a squad, but when you take a few bullets, its back to the last checkpoint, but when you play online, you can die, last a few minutes until your mate helps you out, very smart feature

I think I'll try this then, I dont really like third person type games but the reviews of this and everyone telling me to get it, you cant ignore that so I think I'll buy it tommorow.

I'm up to the bit in the factory but have ditched the "Hand of God" or whatever it's called...is this going to be a problem?

Have to say that the targetting mechanism is utter shite on it; it turns at the slowest possible speed. Not great when you have those exploding critters bouncing around your throat.

im guessing you`re in the stage at night, with the exploding wretches?

if so, dont worry about the hammer, just get yourself a shot gun and your normal rifle with the chainsaw, oh, dont chainsaw them wrectsh, you`ll die when they blow up, little cunts like them

ive now conmpleted it on insane as well, so any probs, post them here

I'm past the bit where about eight of the little fuckers dive at you; took me ages to do that. Gotta hate the fact that you're up to your nuts in carnage and most of the time that useless fuck, Dom, just stands there doing fuck all.

I like the sniper rifle; good weapon for taking things out quickly.

yeah, i personally only carry the shot gun(for wretchs) and the sniper rifle

the only thing with that level you`re on now, you`ll eventually come up against that big fucking spider from the add, and unfortunetly the sniper rifle isnt worth a fuck

a good oul torque bow is a nice weapon too

but them wretchs, the ones that blow up, what a cunt, if you have any major difficulty getting past that spider looking thing, gimme a shout on live and ill do it with you, i played the story mode with a mate, and havign 2 able bodies against that thing is a must, well, id imagine anyway

Went through the whole fucking game not knowing about the chainsaw gun. Saw the others doing it but didn't know it was a weapon I had access too.

The first Beserker scared the feckin shite out of me.

Cracking game but maybe a little short.

you wont be saying that when you play it on insane, its shit hard

playing the missions with a mate is wicked though, some of the levels really demand it, especially that spider looking fucker, apart from killing him, a big bunch of filthy wretchs get you

i know what you mean about the berserkers, but once you get used to them, their piss easy to kill, the good oul hammer of dawn sorts them stupid blind fucks out!!

I have to comment ive never played a game were my hearts been in mouth every step of the way - christ the number of times ive nearly pished myself and im only up to the bit in the factory when you drop into the sewer

The online game is good as well.

As per usual its full of yanks but the 4 v 4 is a laugh.
