What do you look for on this forum?
As myself and MH have illustrated, we look for totally different things on this forum. What kind of threads, discussions, jokes & games do you look for and what would you like to see less of?
I like all sorts but avoid politics and music threads (most of the time I've not heard of Monty's new favourite), but enjoy pretty much anything else. Despite not being bothered by politics or obscure music, it still has a place here (in small doses), one thing I'd really love to avoid is too much bitchiness like the FF- something I have often got pulled into myself.

Pretty much anything apart from music threads. All this new fangled rubbish doesn't do anything for me and it gets depressing checking out shit bands after a while

Anything really. Its a great way to talk to fellow reds and I definitely learn a few things.
There are some great views on music, films, books etc which are great and there are bands I may never have heard of without some people on here.
What I really mean is, I...
I...
I love...
...the porn links.

Re: What do you look for on this forum?
Anything apart from politics or views on the current situations regarding our adventures in the middle east, all that shit does my head in now.
Other than that I like pretty much anything, Music, Films, and reading peoples general adventures and mishaps, or the funny random shit that fills the RF.

Re: What do you look for on this forum?
I like to get involved at both ends of the spectrum; with some high-falutin' political chat, and promotion of Mexican revolutionaries, and also the opportunity to discuss recent monkeynews and put forward my views on how sweetcorn is evil.
A bit more effort from people to construct things that will entertain and educate wouldn't go amiss though. There are loads of people on here that could take it up a notch in effort if they wanted to. I'm all about releasing the potential you know. Catepillars to Butterflies and all that shit.

Re: What do you look for on this forum?
I tend to dip in and out with the RF, getting into most stuff but just ignoring that which ain't my bag (man). But isn't that inevitable with such a mixed bag? I love the RF for the banter and giggles, but also for some of the more thought-provoking stuff, too. The middle east stuff was interesting at first, but now I just think it's going round in circles (probably inevitably) so I tend to give it a miss.
TLW fulfills almost all of my bantering needs except for music as I'm not into the stuff on most of those threads on here, and it seems the feeling is reciprocated when I post something. But once gain, maybe that's inevitable with such a subjective topic.
One difference I'd like to see is the occasional more-serious post from Don Remmie. He's deffo got it in him (see his thoughts on kids from a while ago) but tends to duck and dive most of the time.
I do like getting other people's perspectives on stuff - especially when it's thought provoking. I get stopped in my tracks on here much more than I ever do on the FF these days.

Re: What do you look for on this forum?
Threads about real or fake tits, fun stuff, zany stuff (sorry Michael Howard), it's all a welcome distraction from the stress of the job. Tend to stay away from the politics threads but that's more due to my own ignorance than a dislike of the subject, I try and read them.
