Footy manager 07 - online game
Would any of you fellow FM playing reds be interested in setting up a good online game when this comes out? Nothing better than pitting your wits against someone else before slagging them off in the press when they take your star player on a bossie?

Sounds good but someone clever on computers would have to set it up, I'd give it a go but my head may explode and this monitor is not easy to wipe clean.

Some people dont get the idea of random teams

Nah, schedule and things we can work out when we get the game. I am thinkin not every night of the week though, that can be put up for poll when the time comes initially I am thinking couple of nights and on a sunday during the day or something. I would host but my computer has a tendancy to crash at the moment, so the game would keep stopping and starting if I hosted.

Nah it isnt set up yet, I got the game but there are one or two bugs that need to be ironed out before we start maybe unless we wanna start up whatever. Oh and if you are wondering why the german team are all grey players - it is because of the german licensing laws and oliver kahn being a muppet. Its an easy fix though.

go to.. program files/sports interactive/football manager 2007/data/db

in there there should be a folder called inc. delete that folder and we defeat the evil that is oliver kahn being a twat.

If there is an editor about it may be best to start say in the conference. Edit it so all teams have the same cash and stadium and fan base ect. And start with no players or staff. There are loads of players on free transfers you would sign to begin with. This would be a fair way of testing the manager’s skill. I have also done it like this in the past with a few mates.

I will get the game at tueasday at the earliest. Is there a possibility to join after the game is started, or do you have to be in from the go?...im sure there are others who want to join when the news of a TLW football manager game spreads out through the jungle.

It is always best to come in from the start, but there wont be any problem joining in mid flow - you will just have to cope with the manager problems that happen when you do join a club after the season has begun

Gonna start a new thread over on the GF for numbers to start this weekend hopefully. Or should we keep it in here?
