Discovered WolfMother a few months ago, they have restored my faith in rock n roll. Anyone else into the wolf

I've been told I should but I've never got round to it.

I really like their album. Very retro but I like retro! If you played me the album and I knew nothing about them I would have guessed it was recorded in 1971. Would love to see them live.

Playing in Madrid on September 7th supporting Pearl Jam.

When compared with other albums such as Led Zep IV, Meddle, LA Woman, Zappa Fillmore East, Sticky Fingers, Who's Next or Paranoid, that were actually recorded/ released in '71, I'd say that their album isn't bad but it's not brilliant.

I recently discovered them whilst looking through my dads old LPs from the 70's.

Re: WOLFMOTHER

Going to see them in Manc land in November. They're not the most original band around but the album is good, shit all over Jet. White Unicorn is their best song.

Jimmy Page just called and says he wants his royalties.

Ooo thats a bit harsh. Of course Wolfmother's album is not as good as those albums you named. They are all absolute classics. Wolfmother's album is NOT a classic, but its still pretty darn good.

Re: WOLFMOTHER

Just heard "Woman" and its a fucking tune. Real catchy ballsy classic rock. I'm downloading the album now, if all their other songs are like this I'll be impressed.
