Is the monkey nonsense even more tiresome than the banana thing?
Well? Is it?

its montegue's fault he'd been listening to Gervais and Karl Pilkington where they had a regular monkey news section which did indeed become a little tiresome. All you monkey fans out there it's been done you are infact sheep to stu monty's tune, who nicked it from gervais, who got it from a monkey.

So Monty's a gag thief is he? That's a very studenty thing to do Stuart. You're a working man now. You can't go passing off professional comedians' material as your own stuff. Especially when it's not funny.

Monkeys and apes are cool animals, the gags were funny at first but it's been dragged on far too long.

No way. Animated banana gifs are the worst by a long shot. Just as bad as text speak and polyphonic ring tones.

I don't even like monkeys that much. I don't trust them, they look like they're up to something.

Re: Is the monkey nonsense even more tiresome than the banana thing?
I find it impossible to consider that I will ever get bored of Monkeys. Whether you can get bored of people going on about never getting bored of monkeys is a different matter I grant you.
I have always thought they were ace and it wasn't really stolen from Karl Pilkington, he just did a very funny thing which featured monkeys, which obviously appealed to me (although it's actually his own ignorance of the absurdity of the stories that is the funny bit in Monkey News).
JNP shares this love of the Simians and seeks to inform people of thier work. How anyone can think that is a bad thing in a sea of information about the nutritional values of different types of nut is beyond me.
Oh, and I feel your poll is slightly leading in the two responses you are allowing Paul. You massive, cookery-based cocknocker.

Re: Is the monkey nonsense even more tiresome than the banana thing?
A cessation of monkey related threads and posts would be most welcome. It's not that I don't like monkeys. I just think maybe you can have too much of a good thing . . . . . and now is the time to stop.
thank you.
