The West Wing/Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
I was really disappointed when I heard that The West Wing was going to end because, Season 5 when Sorkin left aside, it's been consistently brilliant. This last season has been particularly good, but now I've seen the finale, they did what all greats should do: go out at the top. All the questions about characters' futures were nicely answered and it felt like the end of an era both on and off screen. Fucking ace.
The other interesting thing about the end is that More4 started to advertise Aaron Sorkin's new show, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. It's about a fictional late night comedy show on US television that is in meltdown. There are a number of familiar faces from The West Wing in it, such as Bradley Whitford, Matthew Perry and Timothy Busfield and it looks good. Suffice it to say, if it's written by Sorkin, it's deffo worth a go.
