spotted this recently. Jamie's Oliver new 15 restaurant in Cornwall. Breakfast menu:

"Fifteen Fry Up: home made baked beans . . "

they are even listed as the first item in the "fry up" ! Wait till Noos hears about this.

Anyway, I was slightly more polite and sensible when I sent them this:

"Just a quick note / suggestion about the breakfast menu. I'd love to try it out should I be in Cornwall sometime in the future, however I have two issues I consider to be major about the "Fifteen Fry Up". 1) A fry up should never include beans. They just don't mix with egg. 2) Where is the egg? As wrong as it is to mix beans with egg, you should never omit the egg from a fry up. I hope you can remedy these items before I arrive in Cornwall, although knowing my luck you'll be full when I turn up. Or I'll arrive after you've finished serving brekky."

I was going to put a "Bastard" in there but decided against it. A good "bastard" or two always adds to a complaint letter I find, but this wasn't really a complaint as such.

I got a reply from Jamie's actual very own kitchen. Well, from a person who works for him...

I will mention your comments to our chef but these are no ordinary beans
and should be tried first, they are made by the chefs in the restaurant.
With regards to eggs, that must be an oversight on our menu which I will
check and have updated so thanks for letting us know.

Breakfasts have proved incredibly popular and I would suggest arriving
before 9am to get yourself a table.

Pfff, that ain't old GF, that was only a few months ago. Old GF had magnificent threads such as the Longest thread, The GF Animal fighting tournament, the insult a forumite tournament, the "I would" years, the Remmies (Yes, the Remmies), Will there ever be a boy that can swim fater then a shark, DT's 3 Birds, Susan Kennedy (when she was a Kennedy) loving etc.
