Re: The greatest cartoon character of all-time.

I'm torn between Homer and Donald Duck, but I have to chicken out and vote Homer.

edit: I have to say I haven't heard of half of those you've listed.

Random Simpsons quote time:-

'Marge, look's like I'm going to have to pull an all nighter. Make a pot of coffee, drink it, then start making burgers.'

Closely followed by Optimus Prime. I cried when he died in the Movie.

Re: The greatest cartoon character of all-time.

I've voted Bender, but to be honest Homer could have got it, how many years has he been going? Admittedly current out put is poor - but he is responsible for Peter Griffin like characters and many more.

Bender wins for just being such an off the wall madman. He burned brightly for such a disappointingly short time.

P.S Bring back Futurama!

Muttley.

Was on holiday in Mexico and it was on the Mexican cartoon network. Nothing like sunning all day sucking back Corona's then heading back to the room to more mini-bar Corona's and watching Muttley snicker.

Re: The greatest cartoon character of all-time.

Where is the obvious winner: Zapp Brannigan?
2nd is Muttley
3rd is either Lenny or Ralph from Simpsons

Re: The greatest cartoon character of all-time.

Have to go for Donald Duck (I suspect it's a norwegian thing).

The oldies are the best, there's nothing more funny that Donald completely losing it over something, with that crazy duck-voice of his.

Re: The greatest cartoon character of all-time.

Cartman and Zap are undoubtably in the same league as Homer. Homer is a better rounded character but you can't beat the pure evil of Cartman.

Wasn't Donald Duck banned in finland years and years ago because he didn't wear trousers? I read that once seriously!
