alright lads
im gonna sell something on ebay, ive used it a few times, but have never sold anything yet, now, im running into a wee snag, ive got pictures of the item on my pc, but saved as BITMAP images, plus there huge
how the hell do i change the size of these things, i cant use microsoft word, so im a bit of a dilemma,  |

If you dotn have any software you could always upload them to an image hosting website such as photobucket or imageshack.

Open them in Paint. Then 'save as' allows you to change the file type to JPG or whatever. If you still need them smaller again go to image/strench and scew/change the percentage size

It depends what version of MS Paint you have. Older versions only support Bitmap files; the one I have on my XP machine lets you save it as jpeg etc.
Of course, PNG is the best graphical format

I think the ebay software automatically resizes whatever image you upload so you don't have to worry too much.

the images are monstrous, its the oen thing i hate about digital cameras, changing the bloody sizes, it gets me every time
