m4a to mp3 conversion

Alright tech heads.

I use a mac and have an ipod, when i put a cd into itunes the file format is m4a.

Im thinking of buying a 512mb mp3 stick. Does anyone know how to convert the m4a files into mp3.

And fook off with the re booting responses............................(waits for the first lemon to do it)

Bri, Nero or something similar should do it for you automatically. Failing that you could always try.......

try just turning the monitor on and off - see if that does it. or you can set up in iTunes what you want to save tracks as under options/preferences or sommat. If you do that it will then automatically save your cd as mp3, or you can then right click on what songs you want to convert and there will be an option "convert to mp3"
