Mr Ross, I understand that you are also indulging us southern cunts in your fine music in Camden Toon- when was it again?

We've thought about Exeter but to be honest it's a tough one for us, cos although we are internationally renowned men of mystery and intrigue, getting people to comeand see us in those parts is always gonna be tough, so we've tended to turn thos kind ofgigs down.

it depends on the venue really - whether they get any "passing trade" or are expecting us to fill it ourselves. We canpull our own rowds in thelikes of Manchester, London, birmingham, Liverpool etc, but we's truggle to make up teh numbers in the sticks.

More than happy to hear of a couple of venues though mate that we can look in to. Fire away!

Tom, you wanna check out a venue in Bristol called 'The Fleece & Firkin' nice venue and theres not a bad music scene down there, not to mention less sheep shagers than originally thought.

What sort of music you play mate and what sort of numbers you draw?

There's a couple of really nice venues for gigs in bristol, the fleece and firkin having live acts 7 nights a week so they'll always have regulars showing up.

Re: This Thursday @ The Cavern

Have you ever played at 'The Attic' in Manchester?. Little venue above a bar in town centre. Biggs the bloke who runs and owns it looks like a fatter version of Ozzie Osbourne, off his cake all the time too. We used to play there every monday back in the days before moving back to shitty gloucester, good for a laugh and a drink up.

We play more kinds of music than most to be honest mate. Some is cathcy old school guitar pop, some is what you might called "country tinged rock" and som is bluegrass, soul and good old fashioned rock and roll. Proper mixed bag but we find it keeps audiences interested.

Biggest crowd we've drawn in leeds is about 200, but Leeds is where we live and play most often so it's easier to pull a crowd. We pulled in over 100 of our own in the Zanzibar in Liverpool a few weeks ago though, which wasn't bad for our first ever gig back in Liverpool.
We expect to hopefully pull in 40/50 in Manchester this weekend and perhaps 20/25 in London.

You should defianetly get in touch with the fleece mate, its a quality venue and a good crack there. I'd probably get about 20 lads for football out for a social night and I'm sure Jari37 and I could get more from work out for the night.

Tom,

Meant to ask you the other week but I was there that night you played in the Zanzibar - which band were you? Were you third band on by any chance?

That's about the measure of it. I tend to steer clear of bearded meat heads pissed up on home made scrumpy and moonshine.

tell you what though, looking back at my post, I'm amazed how easily we can pull our own "rows".

Skills!
