The reds U18 side were in action at the Academy yesterday, going down to a 1-0 defeat to Manchester City. Jack Hobbs made his first appearance at Academy level, but it was midfielder Jimmy Ryan (pictured) who caught the eye with another polished performance in the middle of the park.
