OK? How many? Three?
Wrong, there are six - no joke! Read again! FINISHED FILES ARE THE RESULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC STUDY COMBINED WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS The reasoning is further down... The brain cannot process the word "OF". Incredible or what? Anyone who counts all six F's on the first go is a genius Three is normal.

Re: Eye Test
Although I missed the explanation at the bottom. You just read things like that backward. Apparently it's an editor's trick.

Re: Eye Test
I feel a bit of a fraud. I got 6, but would not consider myself as a genius. I am merely talented.

But only because I've done one of those tests before and had insider knowledge.

Re: Eye Test
I see the words as little green zeros and ones. Just as I see my PC, other people and the world in general.
I should have taken the other pill, it's too much bother all this "I'm the one" shit.

Re: Eye Test
Six, but I have to say this pseudo-experiment was confounded as I have recently been doing visual perception and I knew the aim before I'd even started. I hadn't seen this particular one but I've seen similar ones.
Another similar one is below except it's shite as the words are too far apart and the colour of the background should be the same. I have a better one in a text book but this was the only example I could find.
What we see is affected by top down processing, thus our expectations of what we should see affects what we actually see. I have the lecture notes on a powerpoint presentation. I'll see if I can take the pictures from them and upload them.

Re: Eye Test
The middle lines are both the same length yet in each illusson one appears to be longer than the other.
