right wingers

three points:

1. having much the same problem as rafa sorting the right wing. bought govou - lovely stats, scouts said 'excellent' signing, but the cunt is more fragile & temperamental than kewell (who by the way I can't get rid of for love nor money). any ideas for a wide right player sub £10mil?

2. also alonso is playing like a girl - average rating 6.7 or summat. wha gwan?

3. buy iaquinta if you can afford him.

Re: right wingers

I signed Stelios of Bolton for 2.8m just to see out the 1st season, managed to win the league so bought Simao for 10m and have just sold Stelios to Man City for 3m even tho he is 30 odd, soft twats!

I tend to play Gerrard or Garcia on the right if Simao is fucked.

Re: right wingers

I snaffled up Rufete at the start of the game for £5.5m, and he's been doing well for me.

Re: right wingers

bought jiminez thought my problems were over, but just like his predecessor govou, he gets injured all the bleedin time, and now he's homesick & wants a transfer. I think the right side of my midfield is haunted by evil ghosts. any suggestions most welcome.

There is some 18yr old Yank called Eddie Gaven who looks good but it is hard to get a work permit for him.

yup, got gaven for about £2m, great prospect and stats leaping up after sorting his training out - same as adu, my god does he improve with a bit of coaxing. this is my big tip for the top: much more than the last game, sort out training schedules for your players - makes a huge difference. after a month, adu now has gone from 16 to 19 dribbling amongst other things, and now he's a useful little player.

As a desperate solution to the right wing problem i bought Stefano Mauri from Udinese for £7m pounds. So far so good, got homesick early on, but nothing more than a couple of goals and some praise could`nt cure!

Me neither, in season 3 and no fucker will even bid 250k for him.

I use Gerrard and Blaszcycowski on the wing, and occasionally Theo Walcott.

I'm doing alright with Stevie G and Garcia playing there between them, play Barragan a couple of times and he has done ok for me, nothing exceptional but solid, but saying that I do require more cover in that position and the left wing coz that twat Harry Kewell is shit and I have only got Riise and Zenden to play there. No need for strikers Nando and Crouch have 42 between them in all competition's after 23 games.

Re: right wingers

I use Magno now, due to injuries to Gerrard, Malbranque and Garcia I moved Magno from reserve right back to right midfield and he has been excellent, scores a lot of goals from corners. Malbranque was good as well, signed him for 1.8m after Fulham got relegated.

Re: right wingers

Mancini from Roma he'll cost you about 8mill but he's superb. Rafinha the brazillian is a shit hot prospect, get al over that as well. By the way, sold Kewell today for £13mill to Athletico Madrid!!! You couldn't write it, Aceeeeid!
