There is no score at half time between Liverpool reserves and West Brom at the Hawthorns. It's been a fairly uneventful game, and Liverpool keeper Paul Willis has had very little to do. The reds had the best chance of the half, when the lively Florent Sinama-Pongolle released new signing Ramon Calliste through the centre.
The Welsh u21 international did well to take the ball past Darren Moore, but fluffed his shot disappointingly when faced with the Albion keeper. The reds other new signing, Austrian Besian Idrizaj, is on the bench and should see some action in the second half along with Peter Crouch.
We will have a brief report at the final whistle tonight, and a detailed report on the game tomorrow.
