Liverpool's Scotland U21 forward Robbie Foy has joined Wrexham on trial with a view to a three month loan deal. Foy spent the second half of last season on loan at Chester, and appears surplus to the club's requirements. The reserves are desperately short of options up front and on the wing, yet Foy failed to make the bench for the reserves opening game of the season last week.
The Edinburgh youngster joined the reds Academy as a 15 year old, and signed a professional contract at 17. He was promoted to train full time at Melwood shortly after, but has never fulfilled the potential that he showed in his early days at the club.
