Following the widely reported injustice after the Champions League final
http://www.freemichaelshields.org has been setup to further the campaign to have 18 year old Michael Shields returned to his family. The site has the full endorsement of Michael's family and has three objectives:
* To aid the media campaign by spreading awareness and information about the plight of Michael Shields.
* To assist in gathering additional support, aid fundraising and*to encourage people to join the campaign.
* To give the family a platform to speak out on Michael's behalf.
In addition to finding out more about the case there will soon be an exclusive interview with Maria Shields, Michael's mother.
The site has been the work of a collection of volunteers. It's under ongoing development and any creative or technical input that you may wish to contribute would be very welcome.
