Me too. I'm all for being environmentally conscious, but if it really makes life that much harder, who the fuck is going to do it? Science and technology up to this point has been all about making life easier - you can't put that process into reverse because of some potential future doom-laden scenario (see smoking for evidence). The way to sort this shit out is through science and technology. We need clean, cheap fuel and biodegradable everything. Then we can consume away to our hearts content.
