Okay, he may not have had the talent of Kenny or Barnes but you don't get to make 856 appearances (half of which were made during one of our most golden periods) for Liverpool without being a very good footballer and the consumate professional, which he undoubtedly was.
As pointed out, it's a Cally appreciation thread so what's the point in posting negative stuff about him, you'd be better off just keeping it to yourself.
Agreed a truly great man and also a great player

Interestingly John Keith has him as our all time right winger in his all time Liverpool 11 with Billy liddel on the left with the cm being Dalglish and Souness with Owen & rush upfront
