Gerrard is an absolutely superb player on his day who perhaps knows it too well. If he carries on his form on the pitch as it is now, I'l be more than happy to stick my fingers in my ears and sing during his post-match interviews. It seems he wants to play out his career at the club and he seems to be maturing in his game intelligence. His peak years are coming up and I think he could end up being thought of as an asset as a Liverpool captain despite his occasional inclemencies.
