Agree. They lost the league last season because they couldn't cope with injuries at the back. Bringing in Alex and Ben Haim will strengthen them no end.

I feel they are vulnerable to an injury to Drogba though. If he goes down for any length of time they just do not look anything like as threatening.

Torres seems to be the highest quality signing of the summer so far. If the Tevez deal goes through that might be a deal on a similar talent level.

As far as young up and coming players are concerned, Babel looks to be amongst the best business of the summer. I'm hoping Lucas comes and proves to be a great player too. Voronin looks accomplished and is great business on a free.

Hargreaves doesn't catch the eye but he will strengthen Man Utd.

The good news about this window is that we have done at least as well in the market as anyone else. Granted, we did have some catching up to do, but at least it looks as though we are intent on making up the ground.
