I agree with what the Government is trying to do... linking welfare payments to food and school attendance, but then it should be for "ALL" people on welfare not just the Aboriginal communities..

Much like how America has made sure that the black communities remain in the "Projects" i.e. not clamping down on crack dens and having Liqueur stores on every corner I feel Australia wants the same for the Aboriginal communities. I spent 2 years in Sydney and I can honestly say that in that time I only saw a handful of Aborigines and they were either driving a bus or coming into clean the office....

All this talk of "Reconciliation" is exactly just that... talk. A bit like Liverpool, "it is always talking, talking and talking, never any action" (c) Rafa B.
