Which is what you've been saying for the past week, but I don't think you can blame Rafa for poor attacking signings when they've all been less than £10m.
Owen - I made that point in the post you quoted. Also, the reason I made the comparison with United was to explain both my concerns about their signings to Coop, as well as my relative lack of excitement about our new young 'uns. Hopefully Lucas and Leto will be fucking ace, but I've had my fingers burnt too many times over the signing of "gems" to get worked up again without ever having seen them play.
