Torres needs to move to grow. It has all stagnated for him. When he burst through his profile was perhaps a bit too high and he wasn't quite as good as the hype suggested. Now that his star has fallen (ever so slightly) it might be a good time to get him. He is only 23 and seems very level headed.

He would cost half to two thirds what Villa would cost, but he may well go on on to be the superior player. Right now Villa is hot, but it was Torres not too long ago.

It is also a possiblity that the likes of Garcia might go the other way to help the deal along. This would be fine by me, especially if we went in for Tevez too!
