I might be wrong here Dave but the way I see it is that Corinthians were never set to profit from either player. They had no money 2 years ago and yet signed Tevez from Boca for £8m, MSI fronted the cash, they own the rights to him and they choose when to sell him, how much for and who too, Corinthians don't make a penny but get a great player for two years. As for West Ham, I bet they havn't paid a penny either, MSI want to take over West Ham, say they pay £70m for the club and then sell Mascherano and Tevez for £45m after actually paying £15m for the pair for Corinthians, they then basically get West Ham for £40m........it stinks but its a very clever way of making money, MSI is basically a scouting business that makes all the profit on unearthing big players to the big clubs, FIFA need to make this illegal asap, it really could ruin the game!
