What kind of a name for a cat is "Whatley"

All the other cats with proper names like smokey, tigger and puss must have skitted the poor little fucker. I bet when yer ma used to shout "Whatley pssss psss pssss here Whatley" in the street they'd all piss themselves laughing and slag him to bits, in cat talk like. I reckon he got so fed up he topped himself.Poor little fucker.
