That is on account of the
tsq that has recently been introduced into the latest version of the vBulletin software.
From the manual:
The "Talking Shite Quotient" (from now on referred to as tsq) is a filter applied to the SQL database before importing any new record, which prevents overrunning the forum with shite. It is calculated by taking the Average Shiteness Value (asv) of each users' previous posts and the length of their hippy-like hair. The higher the tsq, the more likely a user is to be penalised by random comments being posted at the head of each forum in order to prevent them from appearing to flood a site with comments, and thus post on the Look at me, I've got the latest threads in all three forums. thread.
A user will generally find that their tsq is high if, for example, they make scurrilous remarks regarding future Xpert Eleven fixtures. Or if they have long hair, but no alice band.
